Miss Eco International, founded by Dr. Amaal Rezk and headquartered in Egypt, is the largest pageant in the Middle East and ranks 7th globally, with a focus on promoting eco-tourism and sustainability aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals for 2030.
Established in 2015 under Let’s take care of the planet UN and later in collaboration with IIMSAM, the competition champions humanitarian causes through a media-driven mechanism, spanning 65 countries under the theme “Beauty for a Purpose:
The Environment.” Thanh Ha Nguyen from Vietnam, the reigning queen, serves as the spokesperson for the IIMSAM Youth UN Goodwill Ambassador, perpetuating the tradition of advocating for environmental sustainability worldwide.
Dr. Amaal Rezk is the visionary founder, CEO, owner, and chairwoman of the globally acclaimed Miss Eco International pageant. With a passion for empowering women and promoting environmental consciousness, she has spearheaded this prestigious platform, fostering cultural exchange and sustainable advocacy on an international scale.
In addition to her groundbreaking work with Miss Eco International, Dr. Rezk serves as the esteemed Pro-Bono Envoy/Ambassador for IIMSAM United Nations, where she tirelessly advocates for humanitarian causes and global cooperation.
Dr. Rezk’s expertise extends beyond the realm of pageantry and diplomacy. She earned her Ph.D. in International Business Management from the esteemed University of Liverpool in 2011, laying a solid foundation for her multifaceted career dedicated to fostering positive change and innovation.

Palmira Ruiz is the reigning Miss Eco International 2026, proudly representing Mexico. She made history on May 22, 2026, in Alexandria, Egypt, becoming the first Mexican woman to win this prestigious international title.
Originally from Oaxaca, Mexico, Palmira holds a degree in Communication Sciences and has built a career as a television reporter and presenter. She is also the founder of Go Magazine Mexico and actively supports environmental initiatives through projects such as Renace México.
As Miss Eco International 2026, Palmira is committed to promoting environmental awareness, sustainable tourism, and youth empowerment, using her international platform to inspire positive change and encourage a more sustainable future.
